About Us

The Geography Department was established in 2009 as a part of Faculty of Literature. The department, has started education since the academic year 2015. In our department one Associate Prof. Dr., four Assistant Prof. Dr., one lecturer and two research assistant are employed..  Students who have the right to study in the Faculty of Geography will study 8 semester.
The objectives of undergraduate program are to make students comprehend the world's and Turkey's natural, social, cultural, political, and economic characteristics and enable them to obtain scientific knowledge and research methods to make analysis and synthesis in the related subjects

There are four fields of study in our department: 

1-Physical Geography
2-Human and Economic Geography
3-Geography of Turkey
4-Regional Geography
